twins

I took a bunch of blank in-progress shots of Cailath's head during the modding process, but they're all kinda blurry and gross looking.

So here are some crummy face up shots:


I feel like he looks a lot more similar to Aura now, aside from the nose and chin. The cheek and jaw area is allowed to be different because Cailath is a rogue and a lot more active in different ways than Aura. So that's fine. I guess if I break down and mod his chin and nose more I might also change his eye shape a bit  But for now I am happier with him than I was.

    Arg I still love that wig!! I need to try and make one.

    I totally think they work as siblings. I think the faceups help a lot, and the mouths look great and honestly I think their noses are pretty similar from these photos.

    I don't know why buy my typing skills are about 0 right now....I've messed up every word I've typed D:

      Thank you! You should do it! Wig making is lots of fun! (When it's not annoying and tedious and horrible)

      And thanks! I do think they work as siblings. And I know that it would be pretty impossible to get them looking identical. I keep going back and forth between considering changing them to fraternal twins or scrapping this project because I don't know if I'm okay with that. XD

      Typing skills have this weird habit of coming and going when they please without any warning! They're quite impolite that way.

      Anyway, lol annoying tedious and horrible are what I think of when I think of wig making. When I remember all the times I cried trying to make Alex's green/purple monstrosity....It deters me from trying again (even though I've got a lot of wig supplies at home ready to go).

      and another LOL That's how I feel every time I start something that doesn't turn out 100% like I wanted. EF THIS *tableflip*
      Sometimes I keep going, sometimes *tableflip*

      But I really think just a chin mod might make all the difference.

      Srsly. Though this morning might have been the caffeine. Or not. I'm misspelling everything again....

      Haha yes I can understand. It's hard when you have a very specific image in mind and no one makes the right thing and making one yourself is not easy. I honestly don't know why I said it was fun. I guess it is sometimes but more often than not I end up wanting to do that table flip you mentioned!

      Thank you though! That comment was just what I needed to give myself a good kick and actually wipe him and work on his mods more!

      Hm... maybe the hands just aren't cooperative today! Sometimes my left or right just wants to be faster or more sloppy for no discernable reason.
